Gilded baubles! This is a delightfully whimsical necklace. It is comprised entirely of brass that has been gilded with gold. The double ring design of the chain gives it a very substantial feel. Overall vintage condition is very good with no damage or repairs to the metal or clasp. The gilding has worn off in some areas primarily at the bottoms of the brass beads but this does not in any way detract from the necklace. It could, of course, be polished to a radiant golden shine. This is a delightful necklace to wear. The older style spring ring clasp is in excellent working condition.
