Deliciously purple! If you are a lover of purples, this necklace is for you. Comprised of oval faceted amethyst glass stones prong set in open backed settings, ornately stamped brass and mauve guilloche enamel and a brass paper clip chain. Very Good condition! No damage or chips or cracks to the glass. Several miniscule flea-bites to the edge of two pieces. The clear enamel that overlays the mauve is perfect with no missing areas or cracks. The mauve layer beneath it varies in color from a deep mauve to pale mauve. I'm not sure if the necklace was created this way or if the mauve has simply aged this way. The paper clip chain is nearly perfect. There are two links near the clasp that have some minor dents and bends but nothing that mars the beauty of the necklace. One would have to be looking very closely to see these links. The spring ring clasp works but is not quite as 'springy' as I'm sure it once once. Not signed.
