Perfect creamy pearls!! Comprised of continental or coin silver. The pearls are in exquisite condition for a necklace of this age. They show no loss of finish, scratches or nicks. The tear drop shaped pearls are capped with ornate silver leaves that appear to drop through a pearl encrusted silver oval. Actually there are two tiny rings on the back of the oval that hold the two sides of the chain in place. The clasp is an older style push safety clasp in perfect working condition. Overall condition is extremely fine with no damage or repairs. No maker mark or mark designating silver content. Gift boxed in a black faux croco jewelry box with brass corners.
