Victorian Gold Repousse Bangle Bracelet

Click on a thumbnail image to see enlarged images.

A delightful Victorian era gold repousse bracelet. Hollow gold with dangles at each end that jingle when the bracelet is worn. The bracelet is hallmarked but the mark is to worn to read. Definitely gold filled and at least 12k. Extremely Fine Condition with only two pinhead size dents on the inside. Quite amazing considering that it is hollow and the metal is quite thin. Very little evidence of tarnish. Although the bracelet is open at the ends, it is not adjustable. To get the bracelet on, the ends must be twisted slightly in opposite directions to create the opening. This was a very popular style during the Victorian era. It will only fit you if your wrist measures 6 inches or smaller. Inside circumference from end to end is 5-3/4 inches. My wrist measures 6 inches. I can get wear it and it looks quite fine. A beauty and very musical. Gift boxed in a black velvet jewelry box.(jewelry box is not antique or vintage)
