Vintage Oriental Charm Bracelet

Click on a thumbnail image to see enlarged images.

A 1950s era charm bracelet with an oriental theme. Green Peking glass beads, painted wooden beads and gold toned charms hang from a heavy brass wrist chain. Brass filigree end caps ornament the beads. The painted wooden beads have been created to look like oriental lanterns. Closes with a toggle clasp. Very Fine condition with no damage to metal, glass or wood. The painted lettering on the sides of the wooden beads is slightly worn as is the gold finish on many of the gold toned metal charms. This is not unattractive but rather adds to its vintage character. Not a heavy bracelet although many of the charms are fairly substantial in size. The largest being 1-1/2 inches x 1-1/4 inches. When worn the metal charms make a soft chiming sound. Not hallmarked. Gift boxed. (box is not vintage)
