A delightful Victorian era fringe necklace created from heavy brass chain. A profusion of floral capped turquoise blue glass melon beads dangle from the rows of chain. The beads are pear shaped and ribbed. All of the brass has a very nice patina to it. If you like your beads to hang in an orderly fashion this necklace will drive you nuts. The top two rows of beads just hang every which way at the sides and are quite unpredictable. An expressive, flamboyant necklace and oh so much fun to wear. Extremely Fine condition with no damage to brass or glass. The spring ring clasp works very well but is not quite as springy as I am sure it was 100 years ago.
