Victorian Frosted Glass Pendant

Click on a thumbnail image to see enlarged images.

An elegant Victorian pendant created from clear frosted glass and peachy pink frosted glass. All of the glass pieces are capped with ornate gold washed brass filigree. The pendant glass is smooth and unfaceted. The smaller clear frosted beads have cut facets and the peachy pink frosted glass undulates with curving ridges. The curving lines appear to have been molded and then carved as well to accent the curves. Undoubtedly created by Bohemian glass artisans. Extremely Fine condition with no damage to glass or metal. The heavy brass chain has lost most of its gold wash and has tarnished to a very nice antique patina. The other brass pieces do still retain a considerable amount of gold wash The penant cap looks as though it has lost none of its gold. The necklace closes with a lobster clasp.
